R\u00e9sum\u00e9 de la pr\u00e9sentation<\/strong><\/p>\n

La cartoth\u00e8que du CEDEJ est unique en \u00c9gypte\u00a0avec un fond multi-scalaire de cartes cadastrales, topographiques et g\u00e9ographiques qui couvre toute l\u2019\u00c9gypte allant de l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1\/500\u00e8<\/sup> \u00e0 la carte 1\/1 000 000\u00e8<\/sup>. Les plus anciennes cartes datent de la fin du xix\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle (carte des assurances du centre-ville du Caire) et les plus r\u00e9centes de la fin des ann\u00e9e 1990 (la s\u00e9rie 1\/50 000\u00e8me<\/sup> qui couvre le Delta et la vall\u00e9e du Nil). Ces cartes et plans sont utiles \u00e0 tous pour, \u00e9tudes de terrain, int\u00e9gration dans les dossiers ou m\u00e9moires de master ou de th\u00e8se, comparaison \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes dates etc.<\/p>\n

Afin de faciliter la consultation de cette cartoth\u00e8que, nous mettons \u00e0 disposition de la communaut\u00e9 des utilisateurs un catalogue de gestion en ligne, ergonomique, dynamique et interactif permettant l\u2019acc\u00e8s, l\u2019extraction et l\u2019exploration de donn\u00e9es textuelles et g\u00e9o-r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Ce travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans le cadre de la science ouverte. Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CEDEJ map library is unique in Egypt: A multi-scalar collection of cadastral, topographic and geographic maps covering all of Egypt ranging from 1\/500th to 1\/1,000,000th scale. The oldest maps date from the end of the 19th century (insurance map of downtown Cairo) and the most recent ones from the end of the 1990s (the 1\/50,000th series covering the Delta and the Nile Valley). These maps are useful to everyone for field studies, integration in master or thesis files or dissertations, comparison at different dates, etc.<\/p>\n

In order to facilitate the consultation of this map library, we are offering to the community of users an online management catalog, that is ergonomic, dynamic and interactive and allowing the access, the extraction and the exploration of textual and geo-referenced data.<\/p>\n

This work was carried out within the framework of open science. We carry an open data policy in strict compliance with the legislation and in the spirit of Plan S, namely “that data should be as open as possible and as closed as necessary” (https:\/\/scienceeurope.org)<\/p>\n

Biographie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hala Bayoumi est ing\u00e9nieure de recherche au CNRS France (Centre national de la recherche scientifique) et responsable du p\u00f4le Humanit\u00e9s num\u00e9riques au CEDEJ. Elle est titulaire d’un doctorat en informatique et math\u00e9matiques appliqu\u00e9es de l’EPHE (Paris, France) et d’une habilitation en g\u00e9ographie de l’universit\u00e9 Jean Moulin (Lyon, France). Elle est laur\u00e9ate de la m\u00e9daille de cristal du CNRS 2017, et ambassadrice du programme “la Science taille XXelle”.<\/p>\n

Elle a publi\u00e9 plusieurs ouvrages et portails internet et a r\u00e9cemment co-\u00e9dit\u00e9 avec Karine Bennafla “Atlas de l’\u00c9gypte Contemporaine”, 2020. Elle a coordonn\u00e9 depuis 2010 un dipl\u00f4me de niveau Master en analyse de donn\u00e9es et techniques d’analyse spatiale (GIS 4D) pour les fonctionnaires \u00e9gyptiens du CAPMAS (dipl\u00f4me inter-universitaire EPHE-universit\u00e9 de Lyon).<\/p>\n

Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Hala Bayoumi<\/strong> is a research engineer at the CNRS France (National centre for scientific research) and head of the Digital Humanities cluster at the CEDEJ. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and applied mathematics from EPHE (Paris, France) and a habilitation in Geography from university Jean Moulin (Lyon, France). She is the winner of the CNRS 2017 crystal medal, and ambassador of the program \u201cla Science taille XXelle\u201d.<\/p>\n

She published different books and web portals and co-edited recently with Karine Bennafla \u201cAtlas de l\u2019\u00c9gypte Contemporaine\u201d, 2020. She coordinated since 2010 a Master’s level diploma in Data Analysis and Spatial Analysis Techniques (GIS 4D) for Egyptian officials from CAPMAS (inter-university diploma EPHE-university of Lyon).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
