Dans le cadre du programme des deux unit\u00e9s des services de biblioth\u00e8que pour l’Afrique et de la communication francophone \u00abPasser au num\u00e9rique … change nos vies\u00bb, le D\u00e9partement des institutions de l’information et des comp\u00e9tences professionnelles dans le secteur des biblioth\u00e8ques, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, organise une conf\u00e9rence interactive en ligne en direct (webinaire) intitul\u00e9e \u00abHumanit\u00e9s num\u00e9riques: des mod\u00e8les r\u00e9ussis\u00bb, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par le Dr. Hala Bayoumi<\/strong>, chercheuse au Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) et chef du p\u00f4le humanit\u00e9s num\u00e9riques au Centre d’\u00e9tudes et de documentation \u00e9conomiques, juridiques et sociales au Caire, (CEDEJ).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The BA Information for Africa (#BAIFA<\/a>) and the BA Francophone Network , at the Information Institutions and Professional Skills department – Library sector at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, are pleased to launch their annual program “Going Digital… Transforming Lives”, under the theme of \u201cDigital Transformation in the World of Information\u201d on the 9th of July 2020. Through this program, we aim to highlight the role of #digital_transformation<\/a> in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals; the status of digital transformation in African and Francophone countries; and the different opportunities and challenges these countries are facing in this domain. We will also shed the light on different success stories in this domain. In addition, we will emphasize how librarians are using digital technologies in developing different information dissemination tools.<\/div>\n
Within this program, we will share every Sunday and Thursday a wide range of open access electronic resources, selected and evaluated by the librarians of the #Bibliotheca_Alexandrina<\/a>. Also, different virtual activities will be organized, including videos, zoom events, live events on FB and other.<\/div>\n
It’s worth mentioning that this program comes in alignment with #Bibliotheca_Alexandrina<\/a>\u2019s educational and developmental role and its leadership in the areas of digital technology, as well as, the approaches of #IFLA<\/a> (International Federation of Library Association) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (#UNESCO<\/a>), and with the Egyptian state’s approach to implement #Goal_9<\/a> of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs<\/a>) focusing on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Moreover, the \u201cWorld Youth Forum\u201d, held in Sharm El Sheikh in 2019, recommended that \u201cdigital transformation is the greatest opportunity for the continent of #Africa<\/a>\u201d.<\/div>\n
