Scholarship CEDEJ\/IFAO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dans le cadre d\u2019un renforcement de leur coop\u00e9ration scientifique, le Cedej et l\u2019Ifao proposent une aide \u00e0 la recherche doctorale en sciences humaines et sociales pour des travaux portant sur les \u00e9volutions contemporaines de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9gyptienne et n\u00e9cessitant un s\u00e9jour prolong\u00e9 en \u00c9gypte. Cette bourse s\u2019adresse \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiants, quelle que soit leur nationalit\u00e9, titulaires d\u2019un Master 2 ou \u00e9quivalent, et justifiant d\u2019une inscription en doctorat \u00e0 la date du 1er septembre 2021. Elle est \u00e9galement ouverte aux post-doctorant.e.s ayant r\u00e9cemment soutenu leur th\u00e8se et \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiants en master. Elle n\u2019est pas cumulable avec un contrat doctoral en cours.<\/p>\n

In order to strengthen their scientific cooperation, CEDEJ and IFAO offer a financial support for research in human and social sciences on contemporary developments of Egyptian society, requiring an extended stay in Egypt. This scholarship is open to students of any nationality who hold a Master or equivalent and are or will be registered for a PhD at the date of September 1, 2020. It is also accessible to post-doctoral students who have recently defended their PhD thesis and to master students. It cannot be cumulated with a doctoral contract.<\/p>\n

Statut, service<\/p>\n

Le montant de la bourse est de 12 mensualit\u00e9s de 1 000 euros nets (en plus de l\u2019octroi d\u2019un billet d\u2019avion aller\/retour). Le ou la r\u00e9cipiendaire pourra, \u00e0 son choix, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de cette bourse pour 12 mois d\u2019affil\u00e9e \u00e0 compter du 1er septembre 2021, ou bien pendant 12 mois r\u00e9partis sur les deux ann\u00e9es allant du 1er septembre 2021 au 31 ao\u00fbt 2023.<\/p>\n

L\u2019attribution de la bourse implique de r\u00e9sider effectivement en \u00c9gypte durant cette p\u00e9riode et de pouvoir d\u00e9montrer ses capacit\u00e9s linguistiques (arabe et\/ou anglais) ou s\u2019engager \u00e0 prendre des cours intensifs. Une participation active \u00e0 la vie de la recherche dans nos institutions sera bienvenue. Le ou la b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire devra disposer d\u2019une couverture sociale et d\u2019une assurance-rapatriement.<\/p>\n

Le.la r\u00e9cipiendaire b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiera de toutes les facilit\u00e9s pratiques et logistiques des deux instituts.<\/p>\n

The scholarship amount is 12 monthly payments of 1 000 euros net (in addition to the granting of a round-trip flight ticket). The beneficiary may, at his\/her option, receive this support either for 12 consecutive months starting from September 1, 2021, or for 12 months spread over two years from September 1, 2021 till August 31, 2023.<\/p>\n

This financial support requires that the beneficiary shall reside in Egypt for twelve months and be able to demonstrate his.her skills in arabic and or english or engage to take intensive courses. Active engagement in research activities of both centers is more than welcome. He\/She must subscribe a health insurance and a repatriation insurance. He\/She will have access to all the practical and logistical facilities of both Institutes.<\/p>\n

Le dossier de candidature comprendra les pi\u00e8ces suivantes :<\/p>\n

\u2014 un curriculum vitae d\u00e9taill\u00e9, en fran\u00e7ais ou en anglais ;<\/p>\n

\u2014 Si le\/la candidat(e) n\u2019est pas encore inscrit(e) en doctorat : une attestation du dipl\u00f4me de Master 2 ou \u00e9quivalent, ou \u00e0 d\u00e9faut, une attestation d\u2019inscription en Master 2 pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2020-2021 ;<\/p>\n

\u2014 Si le\/la candidat(e) est d\u00e9j\u00e0 inscrit(e) en doctorat : une attestation d\u2019inscription de son Universit\u00e9 pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2020-2021 ;<\/p>\n

\u2014 l\u2019expos\u00e9 du projet de recherche, en dix pages maximum, en fran\u00e7ais ou en anglais ;<\/p>\n

\u2014 une lettre de motivation<\/p>\n

\u2014 deux lettres de recommandation, en fran\u00e7ais ou en anglais.<\/p>\n

Le dossier doit \u00eatre envoy\u00e9 au plus tard le 20 avril 2021, \u00e0 minuit sous forme \u00e9lectronique aux adresses suivantes : direction@ifao.egnet.net et agnes.deboulet@cedej-eg.org. Il fera l\u2019objet d\u2019une s\u00e9lection par un comit\u00e9 scientifique d\u00e9di\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u2013 If the candidate is not registered for the PhD yet: a certificate of Master\u2019s degree or equivalent, or alternatively, a certificate of registration for the second year of the MA for the year 2020-2021;<\/p>\n

\u2013 If the candidate is already registered for the PhD: a registration certificate of the University for the year 2020-2021;<\/p>\n

\u2013 A research project presentation, in a maximum of ten pages, in French or English;<\/p>\n

\u2013 A cover letter<\/p>\n

\u2013 Two recommendation letters in English or French.<\/p>\n
