Ce num\u00e9ro est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me ville d\u2019\u00c9gypte, Alexandrie, qui en d\u00e9pit de sa c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9 historique et culturelle \u2013 ou du fait de celle-ci \u2013 souffre d\u2019un important d\u00e9ficit de connaissance. En effet, en dehors des mythes et pr\u00e9conceptions dominantes sur cette ville m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne, nous ne savons que peu de choses sur les dynamiques qui la traversent aujourd\u2019hui.
