The Seminar Series \u201cEgypt Urban Futures\u201d<\/strong> has been initiated to build a platform to exchange approaches, experiences, best practices, and opinions on issues and strategies concerning urban development for all stakeholders engaged in the field. \u201cEgypt Urban Futures\u201d will strengthen active dialogue among public institutions, civil society, activists, the private sector, development organizations and researchers and open up rooms for collaboration and strategic alliances on building a sustainable urban future for Egypt.<\/p>\n The seminar series \u201cEgypt Urban Futures\u201d (EUF) is a joint initiative by the CEDEJ<\/strong> (Center for Economic, Legal and Social Studies), UN-HABITAT and GIZ<\/strong> (Participatory Development Programme in Urban Areas \u2013 PDP)<\/strong> and a continuation of the Expert Discussion Meetings on urban development that have been carried out since 2008.<\/p>\n More than one hundred participants and speakers representing the government, private sector companies, universities and civil society joined the lively debates of all three previous EUF Seminars at the French Institute.<\/p>\n The EUF Seminar Series aims to build a multi-stakeholder platform for exchange of different approaches, experiences, best practices, and innovative ideas on issues concerning sustainable urban development.
