{"id":15423,"date":"2016-06-02T10:05:50","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T09:05:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cedej.fr\/?p=15423"},"modified":"2017-04-28T11:00:36","modified_gmt":"2017-04-28T10:00:36","slug":"appel-a-contributions-ema-sur-les-migrations-call-for-papers-ema-on-migrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cedej-old.hybrid-cs.com\/index.php\/2016\/06\/02\/appel-a-contributions-ema-sur-les-migrations-call-for-papers-ema-on-migrations\/","title":{"rendered":"Appel \u00e0 contributions EMA sur les migrations \/ Call for papers EMA on migrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><big>L\u2019Egypte post 2011 \u00e0 l\u2019aune des migrations internationales<\/big><\/h4>\n<p><center><em><big>Coordonn\u00e9 par Pauline Br\u00fccker, CERI-Sciences Po &amp; CEDEJ<\/big><\/em><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En d\u00e9pit de nombreuses \u00e9tudes sur l\u2019\u00e9migration r\u00e9gionale et internationale \u00e9gyptienne ou sur l\u2019\u00e9tablissement en Egypte de communaut\u00e9s sub-sahariennes, notamment en provenance de la corne de l\u2019Afrique, l\u2019Egypte est souvent r\u00e9duite \u00e0 une place mineure voire \u00e0 un angle mort des recherches en sciences sociales sur les migrations internationales. Or, l\u2019Egypte est un pays de destination temporaire ou permanent, un pays de flux et de passages, un pays d\u2019asile tout autant qu\u2019un pays de d\u00e9part, bien loin de l\u2019image r\u00e9ductrice et d\u00e9politisante d\u2019un \u00ab\u00a0Etat de transit\u00a0\u00bb que les pouvoirs publics s\u2019emploient \u00e0 maintenir. Par ailleurs, le contexte post r\u00e9volutionnaire a entrain\u00e9 de nouvelles arriv\u00e9es (syriennes mais \u00e9galement sub-sahariennes) ainsi que de nouvelles formes de gouvernance, influenc\u00e9es notamment par le virage s\u00e9curitaire op\u00e9r\u00e9 par l\u2019Etat \u00e9gyptien dans sa gestion de ses fronti\u00e8res et des \u00e9trangers pr\u00e9sents sur son sol. Enfin, la question politique a \u00e9t\u00e9 souvent d\u00e9laiss\u00e9e au profit d\u2019une approche g\u00e9ographique ou anthropologique des migrations. Or, au-del\u00e0 d\u2019un \u00ab\u00a0laissez faire\u00a0\u00bb de fa\u00e7ade, l\u2019Egypte tient un r\u00f4le bien plus politique dans sa gestion des trangers que ne veut laisser croire le discours d\u2019Etat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ainsi, remettre le politique au c\u0153ur des questions migratoires en Egypte est l\u2019un des fils directeurs de ce num\u00e9ro d\u2019Egypte Monde Arabe. Il s\u2019agit aussi de mettre en lumi\u00e8re la diversit\u00e9 d\u2019un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne trop souvent r\u00e9duit \u00e0 certaines th\u00e9matiques particuli\u00e8res. Ce num\u00e9ro se veut multidisciplinaire et accueillera des contributions en science politique, en sociologie, en anthropologie et en g\u00e9ographie. Celles-ci devront notamment t\u00e9moigner d\u2019une approche empirique, privil\u00e9giant les sources ethnographiques de premi\u00e8re main. Les contributions de coll\u00e8gues institutionnels, activistes et militants sont \u00e9galement bienvenues, de m\u00eame que les travaux se penchant sur ces probl\u00e9matiques en dehors de la ville du Caire. However, it is a country of temporary or permanent destination, of flows, of asylum as well as departure. This reality is far from the reductive and depoliticizing image of a transit state that the authorities are willing to promote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides, the post-revolutionary context has led to new arrivals (Syrians but also sub-Saharans) and new forms of governance, influenced by the securitization operated by the Egyptian state in the management of its frontiers and foreigners living on its territory. Finally, the political side of the question has often been neglected over geographic or anthropological approaches to migrations. Yet, beyond a laissez-faire policy, Egypt holds a more political role in the management of foreigners than what the state discourse conveys.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, resetting politics at the heart of migration issues in Egypt is one of the central threads of this issue of\u00a0Egypte Monde Arabe\u00a0along with the diversity of the phenomenon often reduced to particular themes. This edition intends to be multidisciplinary and welcome contributions in political sciences, sociology, anthropology and geography. They should be based on an empirical approach, giving priority to first-hand ethnographical sources. Articles from institutions and activists are also welcomed along with contribution dealing with the situation outside of Cairo. Original points of views addressing migration through literature or cinema would also be an asset.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Articles should deal with one of the following topics<\/strong>\u00a0:<br \/>\n&#8211; Figure(s) of the stranger in Egypt<br \/>\n&#8211; Continuities and ruptures of the Egyptian governance of migration and asylum<br \/>\n&#8211; The migrant in the city\u00a0: mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion, identity and intra communities relationships<br \/>\n&#8211; Migrant workers\u00a0: immigration and emigration from, to and through Egypt<br \/>\n&#8211; Egyptian foreign policy, international relationships and migrations<br \/>\n&#8211; Political, administrative, judicial powers facing foreign communities<br \/>\n&#8211; The securitization of the migration issue<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conditions of articles and abstracts submission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstracts must be one page long maximum.
